About Jeffrey Miller

Jeffrey Miller brings nearly 30 years of legal and business expertise to his role as founder and principal of The Miller Travel Group and Lipshultz and Miller P.A. Over the years, he has consistently maintained an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the authoritative resource for information on the worldwide legal profession. Jeff’s AV rating, the highest level awarded, is based on peer review of ethical standards and legal ability.

In addition to his law and consulting business, Jeff served for many years as an adjunct professor of graduate business courses at the University of Maryland, University College’s School of Management and Technology in College Park, Maryland. He also has taught at other post-secondary institutions, including George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Jeff is the author of numerous travel industry textbooks and publications, including Legal Forms for Travel Agents, Legal Aspects of Travel Agency Operation, and the Airline Deregulation Handbook. He is a regular columnist and editor for Agent@Home magazine and a contributing editor to Master Travel & Entertainment Expense Management magazine. From 1995 through 2004, Jeff served a regular columnist for Travel Agent Magazine. He has contributed numerous articles to other leading travel industry publications and is widely quoted in the trade and consumer press, including the Associated Press, The New York Times, Money Magazine, and Kiplinger’s Retirement Report. He also is a sought-after speaker with business and civic groups such as Rotary and Kiwanis clubs on topics of concern to the traveling public – safety and security, travel insurance and consumer protection, air travel, travel agent and online bookings, and tips to enjoy a stress-free travel experience.
